As you may already know, Astrology claims that the location of the stars and the movements of the planets, asteroids, and other bodies in the solar system, affect our activities, lives, and actions. An imaginary belt of the heavens within which are the apparent paths of the sun, moon, and principal planets contains twelve constellations and hence twelve divisions called signs of the zodiac. The zodiacs include ♈ Aries (March 21–April 19), ♉ Taurus (April 20–May 20), ♊ Gemini (May 21–June 21), ♋ Cancer (June 22–July 22), ♌ Leo (July 23–August 22), ♍ Virgo (August 23–September 22), ♎ Libra (September 23–October 23), ♏ Scorpio (October 24–November 21), ♐ Sagittarius (November 22–December 21), ♑ Capricorn (December 22–January 19), ♒ Aquarius (January 20–February 18), ♓ Pisces (February 19–March 20).
People have been getting into zodiac signs lately. So, I decided to survey GZAAT students and ask for their opinions about astrology - zodiac signs (83 people were surveyed). First of all, I wanted to find out if the students believe in astrology. The results are the following:
It seems that the majority of the students that were surveyed believe in astrology. Many of the 9th graders believe in zodiacs as there were many instances when their horoscopic predictions turned out to be true, and the personality traits of their zodiacs suited them almost perfectly. But others don’t believe in it, for example, one of the students states, “The practice of Astrology is fake. Any description of any star sign is a collection of basic human traits that can apply to everyone. It's kind of like cold-guessing. Look up John Oliver on Psychics.”
The final question I asked regarded their favorite zodiac sign. The results turned out to be the following:
Leos are the most loved among the surveyed students at GZAAT. Leos are believed to be very passionate; they do what their heart desires to do. They always stand up for what they believe is right. Leos are also confident and aren’t afraid to speak their mind. They are also known to be creative and influential; they inspire others around them. Apart from all this, they are very stubborn, and they never change their position. You could certainly see the resemblance to the majority of our students!
There are amazing Leo celebrities such as Kylie Jenner, Shawn Mendes, Jennifer Lopez, Daniel Radcliffe, Chris Hemsworth, Dua Lipa, and many more.
As for what’s in store for most loved zodiac signs (among the students) in 2021, keep reading to find out. Let’s start with Leos as they are the most loved among the surveyed.
Gahl E. Sasson (a leading astrologer and public speaker) suggests that for the last three years, Leos have been focusing on work, healthy diet, routine, etc. They have learned to obey others around them. This year, “everything you do will immediately come back at you threefold.” Even if it is so, Leos will remain optimistic, maybe actually overly optimistic. You will also learn new social skills. As for the career, “try to welcome what might seem strange, futuristic, innovative, and original into your career.”
Scorpios are known to be secretive, not talkative, and “hidden.” They prefer to listen and absorb. In 2020, Scorpios were working on expressing themselves. They also improved self-promotion skills. In 2021, their life is shifting from work, communication, and logic to more emotions, family, and home.
For the past three years, Aquariuses felt isolated from the things they loved. In 2021, focus, wisdom, and expansion will filter through their archetype. Aquariuses will also go through a makeover. If you are an Aquarius, try to focus on yourself this year; be aware of your needs so that you can live up to your full potential.
This is a brief sneak peek into the world of astrology. There is so much more waiting for you to learn. Yes, maybe you don’t believe in astrology, but give it a chance - you may find it quite interesting and intriguing. Maybe it’ll show you the nature of humans or our general personalities.
