Since the school year is coming to an end, there are many final projects and tests students have to get ready for. This time of the year is usually the hardest because there’s a lot of work to do, and it’s all crammed into one or two weeks. Many students use some mobile apps to help with focus and motivation. Here are some apps that GZAAT students recommended to help you study for your presentations and tests.
The most recommended app was Flora. Flora is an app that helps with procrastination and concentrating. Students can choose the amount of time that they need to concentrate and Flora will start growing a tree. If you enter any other app than Flora on your phone, the tree will stop growing, and you’ll lose your rewards. The app also provides statistics for how much time you have concentrated during the day or week. You can also create a to-do list so that you don’t forget to make time for everything. It is a great way to keep track of your time and how you spend it.
Another highly recommended app was Quizlet. Quizlet is an app that lets you create flashcards to study your material by testing yourself. You can divide your study flashcard sets into classes and folders to keep everything organized. After you’ve created your flashcards, there are multiple ways to challenge your knowledge of them. A great thing about this app is that you can access other people’s flashcards too and if you don’t understand a specific concept or term you can use it to help your understanding. The app can also be used by teachers to share their own sets with the whole class.
The last app recommendation is KhanAcademy. KhanAcademy is not only popular among GZAAT students but teachers too. If there’s anything you still don’t understand before the test or presentation, Khanacademy is a perfect app to look for explanations. Nearly every lesson that is covered in the year in sciences can be seen in KhanAcademy. The app also provides quizzes at the end of a few chapters to test your apprehension and knowledge. The quiz points then go to your profile and you collect rewards for various kinds of achievements. The points also help grow motivation.
