"Apple” has been an important part of the 21st century and every year it surprises us with new technologies we couldn’t imagine our life without. This year “Apple” introduced us to a few new technologies but the ones I’m going to talk about are iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and MagSafe.

What’s new? Let’s start with the most exciting part of this year’s new technologies-iPhone 12. Probably the most exciting thing about the iPhone 12 is 5G. 5G is a new wireless network technology that is said to work a lot faster and better than today’s 4G LTE network. iPhone 12 will have the 5G network. iPhone 12 will also have the fastest chip in a smartphone, A14 Bionic. The part that excited me the most was the improvement of the camera. iPhone 12 and all of its models introduce us to a night mode. Apple also added a new 7 element lens which 27% improved the picture in low light performance. The camera has incredible color accuracy. iPhone 12 is 11% thinner, 15% smaller and 16% lighter. All new models have “Super Retina XDR Display2.” iPhone 12 Mini is the world’s smallest smartphone with 5G-5.4inch. The colors of the phones are: black, white, red, green and the new navy blue. The colors of the iPhone 12 Pro are silver, graphite, gold, and pacific blue. iPhone 12 Pro has also a fourth, additional camera. iPhone Pro Max has a 6.7-inch display which is the biggest one yet. The prices for these phones are iPhone 12-starting at 799$, iPhone 12 Mini-starting at 699$, iPhone 12 Pro-starting at 999$, and iPhone 12 Pro Max-starting at 1099$.

MagSafe

MagSafe accessories-everything just clicks. MagSafe is a new magnetic device for wireless charging. It can be a wallet or a phone case itself. It magnetically attaches to the phone and makes wireless charging a lot easier. The price for this is starting at 39.99$.

The best part about these new inventions is the carbon savings are equal to 450000 fewer cars per year which is a huge step for today. How? - you may ask. “Apple” is removing the power adapter and earpods which makes the packaging smaller which means more boxes per shipment which leads to lesser shipment. All of this eliminates over 2 million metric tons of carbon emissions annually.

“Apple” has done a great job in improving the world but this year it not only improved our lives by bringing new amazing technologies to it but also did a great job at saving the planet.
